As people in Palestine face the guns of the Israeli military to resist the demolitions of their homes, international solidarity movements can take action against the companies manufacturing the bulldozers.

British company JCB manufactures both civil and military bulldozers, which are regularly used by the Israeli police, military and Civil Administration to demolish Palestinian property. It was JCB machines that rolled into the Bedouin village of Khan al-Ahmar in 2018, and which were used in the massive demolitions in Sur Baher (Wadi al Hummus) last year.

JCB’s bulldozers are used to build Israel’s illegal settlements and to expand Israel’s apartheid wall in the West Bank. They are also used in the construction of checkpoints and roadblocks.

The UN have just released a report stating that JCB is complicit in war crimes in Palestine, and Lawyers for Palestinian Human Rights have issued an OECD guidelines for multinationals complaint against the company.

Four people are in court next week for blocking the road leading to JCB’s World Logistics HQ, for standing with Palestinians struggling for the existence of their communities.
